What is the size of the shipping containers?
The containers are 20 foot shipping containers and are approximately 6 metres long, 2.3 metres wide and 2.3 metres high. They are elevated off of the ground and are not stacked on top of each other making them easily accessible. When packed well you can fit household goods from a 3-4 bedroom house.

Can I store my own shipping container at your storage site?
Yes! (except our Cairns City location) Ring for availability. Please note: It is your responsibility to arrange transport to our site to the pre-arranged site location.

How long can I rent the shipping container for?
Long or short term storage is available. If you like you can rent it from 1 month to over a year. Note: We offer discounts for up-front payments of 6 months or more.

How do I make my monthly payments?
Payments can be made securely online and are processed at our office. Payments can also be made over the phone or at one of our sister-company stores.

Are the containers weatherproof?
Our storage containers undergo thorough inspection both before they are placed on our sites and after tenants vacate.
​
However, it is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure that their items are protected and insured against unforeseen events & adverse weather conditions.
​
Since we do not have access to the containers once they have been rented to the tenant, it is the tenant’s duty to regularly check to ensure that their container storage is up to standard & the contents are safe.

Is the site secure?
Yes, we offer a security gated storage site with 24 hour CCTV surveillance. We also have night patrol security.
​
Can a removal truck access the site easily to unload my items?
Yes. Our shipping container storage yards are large so that a removal truck can park near your container for quick unloading.
Am I the only person that will be able to access my container?
Yes, you are the only one with keys to the locks you place on the container.

Do I need to supply my own insurance?
Yes. The same as if you rented a home or unit, you are responsible for insuring your own contents.
​
Do I need to supply my own padlock?
Yes. We do sell them at our office locations.
